HYIPLAB review: what the $99 licence covers, and what it leaves you to do

We sell one of the two products in this comparison, so read it with that in mind. What follows is checked rather than asserted: every price, version and date below was read off the vendor's own pages on 5 September 2026, and the places where HYIPLAB beats us are in here too.

What is HYIPLAB, exactly?

HYIPLAB is the best selling investment platform script on CodeCanyon, published by ViserLab. It is a Laravel application running on PHP 8 and MySQL, sold as source code with a database and documentation, and it has been on sale for six years.

The first thing worth knowing is that HYIPLAB is not one product. It is three, and they are not in the same condition.

The three HYIPLAB editions compared on price, support, version and rating

Standalone PHP, viserlab.com$1993 monthsVersion 6.0, 29 Jun 2026Not shown
WordPress plugin$996 months30 May 20244.25 from 12

Three editions, three prices, two versions

Read that table again, because two rows in it should change what you do.

The vendor's own shop was showing version 6.0, dated 29 June 2026. The CodeCanyon listing, where most buyers land, showed a last update of 8 November 2025 and a newest changelog entry of 5.7. Same product, and the cheaper storefront was a major release behind. It also came with twice the support, six months on Envato against three direct, which is the opposite of what the price difference suggests.

The WordPress plugin is the row that matters most. It has not been updated since 30 May 2024, it still lists WordPress 6.5.x as its requirement, and it has 181 sales against 1,011. It is rated 4.25 by twelve people, not 4.93 by 116. Buyers searching for a HYIP plugin land on it and assume they are buying the same product as the flagship. They are not. Why a version number and an update date are the first two things to check is a subject on its own.

What we build

An admin controlled investment platform, installed and configured for you. Full admin control, live in 6 to 12 hours, from $149.

What item support does not cover

This is the difference that costs buyers the most money, and it is not hidden anywhere. Envato's item support policy says support covers questions, bug reports, compatibility updates and security patches. It then says it does not include services to modify or extend the item beyond its original features, and that authors are not obliged to help with installation, server setup or your hosting environment. A buyer is expected to have working knowledge of the platform.

So the $99 buys you a zip file. Getting it running on a server, with a domain, a certificate and payment credentials configured, is your job or a paid job.

For us, installation is the product. Every tier is installed and configured on your server by us at no extra charge, and the only costs on top are your domain and your VPS, which we buy for you at cost. ViserLab's support desk runs Saturday to Thursday, 05:00 to 14:00 GMT, closed on Fridays. Ours is a Telegram message.

Where HYIPLAB is genuinely better

Six things, and none of them are small:

  • Payment gateways. Their listing says over 30 automated gateways. We have none, and manual deposit approval instead
  • Public evidence. 1,011 sales and 116 ratings you can read before you spend anything. We have no public review record at all
  • A self-serve demo. Their front end and admin demos are open to anyone. Ours is a live login you have to ask for
  • Feature breadth. Staking, pools, compounding, scheduled investments, a mobile app API, a template uploader and a multi-language system
  • Six years of shipping. A changelog going back that far is real evidence, and it is evidence we do not have yet
  • Cheaper to maintain later. PHP and MySQL developers are everywhere and cost less than Node and MongoDB developers, so if you plan to hire someone else to modify this in a year, that is a real saving

We are not going to argue that our stack is faster. We have not benchmarked it against theirs, so we are not going to claim it. Node with MongoDB against PHP with MySQL is a difference, and on hiring cost it is a difference in their favour.

Where we are built differently

The row by row version first, then what sits behind it:

They win the gateway row, the support window and the demo. We are not going to pretend otherwise. What the table is really showing is that these are not the same purchase: one is a licence, and the other is a licence with the work done.

Our product does less, on purpose, and the parts it does are aimed at the person who has to open the panel every morning:

  • Nothing moves without a decision. Deposits sit in a queue with the user's proof screenshot next to the approve button, and withdrawals sit in a queue with the amount and the destination address, oldest first
  • Liability is a headline figure. The reporting screen leads with what you owe your users right now, which is not the same as what you hold, alongside deposits, credited returns and payouts. Their listing says only Strong Reporting
  • Plan terms are frozen at purchase. Each investment stores its own rate and term, so editing or switching off a plan later cannot rewrite what an existing investor was promised
  • The admin panel sits on its own URL, behind its own login, with two factor authentication, rate limited attempts and a noindex tag so it stays out of search results
  • Payout control is per account. Set the rate on one account, see the next credit before it lands, and switch any account on or off without touching anybody else
  • Freezing and suspending are different things. A frozen user signs in and sees their account but cannot move money. A suspended user cannot sign in at all. Both are reversible, and an account can never be in both states at once
  • Nothing phones home. No licence server, no subscription, and from the Standard tier up the source code is yours. If you never speak to us again, it keeps running
  • Support is the people who wrote it. A Telegram message, not a ticket in a queue inside a nine hour weekday window

All of that is described screen by screen on the admin panel page, and the liability figure specifically in what your reporting should tell you.

One line from their own feature list

The CodeCanyon feature list for HYIPLAB includes this item, word for word, between Staking option and Metamask login option:

Fake transaction add from admin panel

We are not going to characterise that. It is on their sales page, it is a shipped feature, and you can read it yourself. Our admin panel has no equivalent function, and adding one is not something we would build. Decide for yourself what it says about who each product is written for.

The copies problem

Being the market leader has one cost that shows up later. Nulled copies of HYIPLAB 5.7 are distributed openly on at least five download sites. That matters to a legitimate buyer in two ways. Some sellers on freelance sites will install one of those copies and charge you for a licence you do not hold, and a nulled build has had its licence check removed by somebody you cannot identify, in code that will hold your users' balances. What to look for is set out in what a nulled script actually costs you and in how to spot a rewrapped script.

Four things we do not have

Stated plainly, because you would find them in the first demo anyway:

  • No KYC flow. There is no document upload with an approve and reject queue. HYIPLAB has one
  • No referral system. No levels, no commission engine, nothing
  • No automated payment gateways. Deposits are verified by a person against the chain and approved in the panel
  • One admin account, and no audit log. There are no sub-admin roles, and no immutable record of admin actions

Every one of those is buildable to your requirement under the custom tier. That is a real answer rather than a deflection, but it is not the same as buying something that already ships with them, and you should price it that way. If any of the four is essential on day one and your budget is a licence fee rather than a build, HYIPLAB is the better purchase, and we would tell you so on Telegram.

Which one should you buy?

Three honest rules:

  1. If you can administer a Laravel application yourself, want the longest feature list for the lowest licence fee, and need many gateways on day one, buy HYIPLAB, and buy the current version rather than the cheapest listing
  2. If you want somebody to install and configure the platform for you, and what you care about is approval control, per account payout control and knowing your liability, talk to us
  3. If you need KYC, referrals or gateway automation immediately and cannot wait for a build, buy theirs

Whatever you decide, check the version and the last update date on the listing in front of you before you pay, because two of the numbers above disagreed with each other on the day this was written. The rest of the buying checklist is in how to buy a HYIP script without getting burned.

Figures verified on 5 September 2026 from codecanyon.net, viserlab.com and Envato's item support policy. If you find one of them out of date, tell us and we will correct the post rather than leave it standing.

Common questions

Is HYIPLAB a good script?

On the evidence, yes. It has 1,011 sales and a 4.93 average from 116 ratings on CodeCanyon, and it has been sold for six years. Those are the strongest public numbers in this category and nothing here disputes them.

Why is HYIPLAB cheaper on CodeCanyon than on the vendor site?

On 5 September 2026 the CodeCanyon listing was $99 with six months of support, and viserlab.com was $199 with three months. The vendor site also showed a newer version. Check both before buying, because the cheaper one is not always the current one.

Does HYIPLAB include installation?

No. Envato item support explicitly excludes installation and server setup, and says a buyer needs working knowledge of the platform. Installation, if you want it, is a paid service arranged separately.

What is the difference between the WordPress plugin and the PHP version?

They are separate products. The standalone PHP system was last updated in November 2025. The WordPress plugin was last updated on 30 May 2024 and still asks for WordPress 6.5.x. If you buy the plugin edition, buy it knowing that.

Do you have more features than HYIPLAB?

No. HYIPLAB has more features than we do, and far more payment gateways. We build a smaller core, install it for you, and build the rest to your requirement under the custom tier.

Can I see your admin panel before buying?

Yes, ask on Telegram and we give you a live admin login. HYIPLAB is ahead of us here, because their admin demo is public and needs no request.

Which is better for a first platform?

If you can administer a Laravel application and want the widest feature list for the lowest licence fee, HYIPLAB. If you would rather somebody else installed it, and you care most about approval control and knowing what you owe, talk to us.
