Privacy Policy

The short version

This site has no accounts, no signup, no contact form and no advertising trackers. We do not set cookies of our own. We do use Google Analytics to count visits, which sets its own cookies and is described in full below. If you want to talk to us, you message us on Telegram, and at that point Telegram has your message, not a database here.

What this site collects

Nothing you type, because there is nothing here to type into. No forms, no email capture, no newsletter, no chat widget.

The web server keeps ordinary access logs, as every web server does: IP address, the page requested, the time, the referring page and the browser user agent. These exist to keep the site running and to spot abuse. They are not joined to anything else and are not used to build a profile of you.

Cookies

We set none of our own. Google Analytics sets two: _ga, which expires after two years, and _ga_Y80H6NEPD6, which expires after two years as well. Both hold a randomly generated identifier so that two page views in the same visit are counted as one visit rather than two people.

Two items are stored in your browser, and neither is a cookie: your answer to the notice at the bottom of the page, and the fact that you were shown it. Both sit in local storage, never leave your browser, and cannot be read by us or by anyone else.

Your choice, and how to change it

The notice at the bottom of the page has two buttons, and Decline genuinely stops the tracking. It is not a button that only hides the bar. Pressing it switches Google Analytics off for this browser, deletes the analytics cookies that were already set, and stops any later page on this site from loading Google's script at all.

We ask once. If you ignore the notice and carry on, it is not shown again on your next visit, and your visits continue to be counted. That is the honest consequence of asking once instead of every time, and it is why the switch below exists: you can change your mind at any point, without being nagged on every page.

The switch applies to this browser on this device, because that is the only place your choice is stored. On a different browser, a different device, or after clearing site data, you are asked again. Beyond this, you can block cookies for this domain, use a content blocker, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Nothing on this site stops working if you do; no feature here depends on being counted.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics 4, property G-Y80H6NEPD6, added on 16 October 2026. It is the only third party script on this site. There is no Facebook pixel, no advertising tag, no retargeting and no affiliate tracking, and we do not run ads anywhere.

What it records is the ordinary set: which page you landed on, which pages you opened after it, roughly where you are in the world, which country and language your browser reports, the site or search engine that sent you, and whether you are on a phone or a desktop. Google truncates the IP address and we never see a full one in the reports. None of it is joined to a name, an email address or a Telegram handle, because this site collects none of those.

Why it is here at all: we need to know which guides people actually read and which pages waste their time, and there is no honest way to learn that from server logs alone.

Google processes this data as our processor under their privacy policy and may transfer it outside your country. We do not export it, sell it or share it with anyone else, and we have not enabled Google Signals, advertising personalisation or data sharing with Google products. Data is kept for the shortest retention Google offers, then deleted automatically.

If you would rather not be counted at all, use the switch in the cookies section above. It takes effect immediately and it is remembered.

If this ever changes, this page changes first and says exactly what was added. That has now happened once, and this paragraph is it.

When you contact us

If you message us on Telegram, that conversation lives in Telegram under their privacy policy, not ours. We keep what we need to do the work you are asking about, such as the server details you send us for an installation, and we keep it only for as long as that work requires.

We do not sell, rent or share your details. There is no list to be added to.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Message us on Telegram and ask. Since we hold almost nothing, the answer is usually short and the deletion is immediate.

For the analytics data specifically, the fastest route is to stop it being collected at all: block cookies for this domain or use the opt-out add-on linked above. Because the measurement is anonymous, we cannot find "your" rows in it to delete on request, which is the honest answer rather than a convenient one.

Data from your own platform

Once your platform is installed on your server, the data your users create belongs to you and sits on infrastructure you control. We have no access to it and no copy of it. If you later ask us for support that requires access, you grant it deliberately and you can revoke it. Your users are your responsibility under whatever data protection law applies to you.
